| Tourist in death fall |

A 24-year-old tourist fell to his death from the roof of a block of flats, opposite Kervansaray beach.
Mark Fraser was said to have been drunk and plummeted 11 metres on to the concrete floor below at Avanti Sitesi, Alsancak, in the early hours of Monday.
Flowers were placed at the scene of his death.
Police are investigating the incident, which is not the first time someone has died at the site. In 2008, a Turkish worker who was carrying out repairs died when the scaffolding he was working on suddenly gave way.
No one was able to confirm an unconfirmed report that an ambulance “took hours” to arrive at the tragedy.
